More to come... eventually. Who knew the packing could be so time consuming and yet so mindnumbingly boring at the same time? I need some umph to get things done in time to be outta here by the 31st. Cutting it close this year.
From this past weekend when Krista, Taylor, Seth, and my dad all flew/drove into town.
First we went to Stewart Park to swing, avoid stepping in 8 different kinds of poop, and lake gazing.
Then, we went to Newfield to see the covered bridge. It was thrilling. And we totally fell in love with that house. It's for sale.
That's Auggie (or Auggila as I like to call her) under the table, Harpo gazing out my window, and Dinah sticking her hand in the water as she drinks. It might be hard to tell from this angle, but she's not actually lapping the water off her paw, just holding it in the water. Yup.
The goldfish plant is blooming! That is the coolest thing ever.

My grandma's wedding picture. And Melissa's engagement ring. It was really hard to get a good shot 'cause the diamonds were too sparkly for the flash.
And my latest tattoo... all healed. I'll eventually have cherry blossoms falling down the whole length of my calf. I got this done at Ft. Myers Beach Tattoo Studios by the owner, Bill Hannong. He was super nice and did a wonderful job. I'll definitely be making a trip to Florida to have him finish it up.

Yesterday, my mom and I drove out to the foothills of the Adirondacks (about 3 hours) to suprise my Grandma Pru with a visit. My brother brought his girlfriend and my Aunt Linda and Uncle Jack drove over from Syracuse. We were surprised ourselves 'cause Uncle Joey and Aunt Josie had come up from Brooklyn earlier in the week. There was lots of food, lots of people, lots of conversation, and an "escape" (making ourselves available to go to the store in Middleburgh). I didn't take a lot of pictures but I did get some.
Summer has arrived and with it the kitty lounging season. Our house doesn't have central AC or even window AC units. When it's 87 degrees outside, it's about 95 upstairs. Thus, the kitties flop around in super adorable positions. And I take pictures.
I'll also include a video of Lucia doing what I call "subdue"--that kangaroo-like back feet double push. Freakin' cute.
