I now have my bachelors in Anthropology from Cortland State. This fall I'm going to start working on my masters in Museum Studies at NYU. I'm slightly terrified of living in the City all by myself, but I'm definitely gonna give it a try. I enjoy herbal refreshments, am owned by some cats, love learning Spanish (most of the time), am moderately friendless, and have an affinity for alternative lifestyles. I also dig gender (beyond Levi-Strauss' binary opposites!), geeking out over geeky things, feminist marxist anthropological analysis, inside jokes, finding more resources to add to my Works Cited page, calling out the use of the "white man's burden" in the modern age for being exactly what it is--a fucking bogus excuse, knitting dishclothes, drinking watered down koolaid, Margaret Mead because of her flaws, swinging (...on swings), and baking in general (though I make a wicked banana bread). Before I die, I'll fly over the Nazca Lines in Peru and culminate the experience by getting a tattoo of the hummingbird.
